How does it work?
As soon as the customer clicks the “Add to cart” button, they get a popup containing a carousel of additional products that other customers who have bought this, have added to their cart. The user can navigate to any of the products.
It’s not only important to drive customers to make a purchase. A recommendation algorithm can make sure that customers can see all the products they might like and choose to purchase those as well. Given the fact that an eCommerce session can vary from a few seconds to a couple of minutes, any on-site action to drive more “add to cart” clicks can be valuable.
